This 1958 Tempic Cycle Club “100” Winner Silver and Gold Medallion was given to therazor-owner-dealer-founder of the club in 1958 as a recognition of their contribution to the sport of cycle racing. The medallion features a depiction of a rider in a Cycle Race Helmet, and the inscription reads “1958 Tempic Cycle Club “100” WINNER SILVER&GOLD MEDALLION”. The club was founded in 1958 and is still in operation today. TheSilverandGold Medallion is the nation’s only professional cycling medallion, and is the most valuable professional cycling award in the world. The Medallion is made of 14-karat gold and is 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
