The 1980 Collegiate Bicycle Review was an influential journaledited by Ralph Bakshi and published through the University of California Press. Edited for students of boyhood in the United States, it series reprinted ethnographic accounts of American life from the 1800s. Published quarterly, the Review featured lively, encyclopedia-like articles on topics such as the American Revolution, the American West, and American culture. Publications continued through the 1990s, and since its discontinuation in 2009, the Review’s spirit has been recaptured in the online archive of WorldCat.
